Creative Arts - Teacher Training Courses Teachers enjoying their day These ladies were on a Teacher Training Day. They learnt the following creative art techniques: Feltmaking, Batik and Silk Painting. The courses below will give teaching and support staff the opportunity to gain inspirational ideas and many techniques. You will find your course leader invaluable – we insist on experienced practitioners who lead the courses and our small groups lend themselves to a relaxed atmosphere (max 6 delegates) FOUR EXCITING COURSES TO CHOOSE FROM: Experimental Textile Techniques. Experimental sample making workshops, where you will be shown many exciting and innovative techniques. These include bonding, trapping, waxing and laminating recycled materials, such as plastics, stamps, fabrics and papers. This activity is perfect for teachers seeking inspiration, with lots of inspirational ideas, your samples can be collated into a handmade sketchbook. Choose between four specialist techniques i.e. Feltmaking, Silk painting, Batik painting techniques and printing. DATES 2010 - 2nd November 7th December ***** Textiles for SEN - Practical teaching. As above course with appropriate examples and ideas aimed at SEN teachers. DATES 2010 - 6nd November , 7th December ***** Willow lantern art Build a lantern out of willow and recycled paper / use students written script and recycled sheer material.
